Last weekend was a mega time for Club 30-80. We were a sell-out again AND my lovely friend Liz was up to visit us; primarily for a concert by Teleman at The Sage in Gateshead on Thursday, she decided to stay a bit longer and come along to our little party at the Prohibition Bar on Pink Lane.
The concert was brilliant, the new Teleman album is brilliant too (you should buy it now!) and our little party was pretty phenomenal. I love it when we get a “whoot whoo” from the crowd when something particular is played and this time, the biggest reaction was for Flawless by The Ones which had been specially requested by my very own Liz! Whoot whoo! The playlist should also have included Henry Badowski’s song “Henry’s in Love”
