We were rather distraught to have to cancel our November date but with infection rates spiking and a number of people falling ill after our last soiree it seemed the only sensible thing to do. We had already sold most of the tickets so I understand how upset some people were.
So, although we retreated to the warmth of our collective kitchens (dining rooms, living rooms etc.) up and down the country, we managed to have quite a nice time of it!
[Toffee] apples abounded & there was fire & smoke. All that booming, banging & crashing from those fireworks made a such racket, not to mention the bombs raining down. It was Guy’s night in the end and after we all had fiery sex we ended up with fiery balls and a fiery ring! I can’t believe I forgot to play Sparks though! Oh well, next time…
