September is apparently International Friendship Month! Who knew (and more to the point, who makes these things up? Really, I want to know!)
I was worried about selecting “Friendship” as our theme for this evening as I thought it might just end up as a bit of a schmalzy mess. I needn’t have worried! With the help of some glorious suggestions form some Club 30-80 regulars we ended up with a wonderful survey of support, love, devotion and companionship without being cloying at all *.
* I will admit though that I did play Matthew Gold’s “Thank You For Being a Friend” all the way through which came pretty close!
