On the 6th August 2020 I played my first ever slot on The Thursday Night Show as me, well, DJ 30 80 that is.
We had family staying with us at the time so I relegated myself and my kit to the hallway so they could eat dinner without a kitchen table based DJ.
I was joined on occasion by my great nephew in law (bit of a mouthful and it’s much easier to call him Funky Will!). He really got his groove on and in particular seemed to like Run D.M.C. featuring Aaron Nevins and “It’s like that”.
Anyway, in the excitement I forgot to press record as I started my set but the lovely Hardy Milts sent a recording of it through to me.
