It struck me the other day that when we eventually go back to shows that aren’t broadcast from my kitchen, we will have to make some changes. Obviously the venues will have to change how they conduct their business (capacity, social distancing, orders etc.) but we will have to as well.
On the night of an event, we put pens, pencis and Post-It notes out on all the tables so that you can write your requests on them as they occur to you. Because of the possibility of contamination and cross contamination via the pens AND paper, we won’t be able to do that anymore. I suspect the solution will be an electronic one, although whether that is email, text message or Facebook, I’m not sure…
