I’m so pleased the #StayHomeSpecial calendar and the Summer Solstice have aligned this year!
We’ve been holding the online parties much more frequently than we do the “real”* parties in “real”* venues. Normally we have five Club 30-80s in twelve months but this one will be our 6th in three months!
We seem to be building a little community of Kitchen Dancers along with a growing number of people who listen in while doing other things at home (like house chores at home in Brooklyn NY). I really love that people are getting involved and that Club 30-80 is going some way to relieve the tension, boredom and anxiety people are experiencing as a result of the lockdown.
Although the Solstice late night lightness will interfere with our disco lights, I don’t care! Let the sun shine in!
