“The countdown is progressing”. With just two days to go till we git up and boogie on down I’ve been working on my skeleton playlist and collating the requests that have already come in; and, it looks like it’s going to be a cracking night.
We’ve had a number of requests spanning both the decades and musical genres. We’ve got the obligatory Disco tracks lined up alongside some Ska, Soul, Motown and Funk, Punk, New Wave, and pure Pop, not to mention Glam Rock and Dad rock.
I predict that there’s going to be serious foot stomping and even more ostentatious sashaying going on this Saturday in a railway arch in Gateshead.
